Sisters bite Zobo drink is a vibrant and refreshing Nigerian beverage made from the dried, deep magenta calyces of the roselle plant, scientifically known as Hibiscus sabdariffa. In other parts of the world, it is commonly called hibiscus tea, roselle juice, or sorrel. The drink has a pleasantly tart, cranberry-like taste and is enjoyed either hot or, more popularly, chilled.
Ingredients:
Hibiscus flower
Ginger
Cloves
Cinnamon sticks
Pineapple (both the fruit and peel are often used).
Optional additions such as orange, cucumber, or mint leaves for extra flavor or garnish.
